About the Basketball Showcase
Dear Prospective Candidate,
Inspiring Young Mind's (IYM) Eighteenth Annual Prep School Basketball Showcase will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 10 am, at Riverbank State Park. This premier event brings together both boys and girls and is attended by more than 50 prep school coaches and representatives from across the country. The showcase provides selected student-athletes with the chance to display their basketball skills and talents in front of the prep school coaches. The final selection of candidates will be based on the timely submission of past and current grades, recommendations, and any other requested documents. Please note that a minimum B average is required for consideration.
Annual Prep School Fair
Our Annual Prep School Fair will be held on Saturday September 13. This fair is attended by over 85 prep schools from across the country and Canada. It is an excellent opportunity for you to explore different educational options and connect with representatives from top prep schools.

Please Keep in Mind the Following Valuable Information
- ⚠️The showcase is open to players by special invitation only.
- 📧Accepted candidates will be notified before the showcase.
- 🚨MANDATORY attendance at the "Prep School Fair" on Saturday, Sept. 13th, 2025, is required for all accepted showcase participants.
- 👔Proper business attire is required for all fair attendees. Further details will be provided once a candidate is accepted to the IYM Prep Scholar Program.
